Sep 30, 2006 · Novosibirsk, RUSSIA. The band PELAGEYA will play a show at anniversary of the Novosibirsk University Club, one of the founders of the famous KVN team of the Novosibirsk University. Concert will consist of performances by the bands PELAGEYA and "Neschastniy sluchay" ("Mischance" in Russian). Some joint compositions are likely to be performed. We do not know yet what they will be like: Pelageya with "Neschastniy sluchay" or Alexey Kortnev (leader of "Neschastniy sluchay") with the band PELAGEYA. By the way, to go to Novosibirsk (the birthplace of Pelageya; she also was a member of Nosibirsk University KVN team at the age of 10) we refused a concert in France. |

The band PELAGEYA will take part in The First Open Folklore Festival dedicated to the memory of a folk songs interpreter Olga Fedoseevna Sergeeva (1922-2003). Sergeeva has strongly affected Pelageya and the band. We perform songs from her repertoire in our arrangments. Within the festival the band PELAGEYA will give a recital on September, 24. |

The main event will be dedication of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour starring His Holiness Alexis II, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Gala concert will take place on Ploschad Pobedi (the Victory Square). |
